Corridor X Task Force Committee The Corridor X Task Force is one of five task forces working under the jurisdiction of the Regional Growth Alliance. Membership on the task force is by invitation only and consists of equal numbers of business, citizen and government leaders selected from jurisdictions along the nearly 100 miles of the corridor from the Alabama/Mississippi state line to Birmingham. How many Corridor X property owners do you recognize in the above photo? Notice that property owners along Corridor X are NOT represented on the Task Force. Co-chairs of the task force are Mary Buckelew, Jefferson County Commissioner (representing governments), Steve Foshee, Marion County Electric Cooperative (representing business interests), and Bob Forbus of Jasper (representing citizen interests). The task force meets to discuss access management issues and funding needs relative to the continued development of the corridor.
